According to the legend, during the reign of King Kamehameha I (1758-1819), Four Warriors of the Hawaiian court mysteriously obtained strange powers which enables them to subdue the citizens through an enigmatic music.
The King, worried about the menace posed by these new musicians, laid them an ambush and ordered their sacrifice in the Kilahuea volcano.
